Story: Sandeep is a happy go lucky guy and reacts to every ones’ needs. His father is a strict man and everyone in the family fears to him, he excuses anyone only up to 100 mistakes after that he throws them out of the house. Sandeep count already reaches 99. Sandeep along with his family members reaches Railway station to go to Tirupati for his elder brother (Brahmaji)’s marriage. Sandeep misses Venkatadri express. What Sandeep does to escape from that 100th mistake (in his father’s count) is what the movie is about?

Performances: Sandeep has done good job as youth who has humanity. His Dialogue delivery (previously it used to be fast) has tuned up a bit. Rakul Preet is okay as female lead. She has done decent job as girl with whom he travels all the way to Tirupati. Nagineedu is adequate. Brahmaji is fine. Tagubothu Ramesh and Sapthagiri entertained throughout. The remaining cast has fitted the bill. Art work is okay. Cinematography made the frames look rich. Editing is good in the first half, could have been better in the second half. Music by Ramana Gogula is okay. Story is simple with a predictable twist. The screenplay in the first half is good. The second half is just okay. Direction is decent. The Production values are rich.

Analysis: Sandeep kishan who tried his luck with a couple of Youthful love stories earlier has come up with an entertaining and engaging film this time. Sandeep has given controlled performance. He has tried out a couple of fight too. The fights appeared as if they are placed forcefully. His chemistry with the heroine is okay (there aren’t much scenes between them). Rakul Preet makes a decent debut in Telugu films. She is okay looks wise and suited to the role. She is expressive in a couple of scenes. Nagineedu, Brahmaji, Jayprakash Reddy are okay. The scenes involving Thagubothu Ramesh and Sapthagiri have come out well.

The Technical departments have put on extra effort in making the film look rich; like the Artwork, Cinematography and Music. The cinematography is good. All the frames looked rich and colorful. Chota has done good work. He could have avoided Green shots in the climax chase, they looked artificial. The VFX in a song enhanced the feel. Editing is good but towards the climax the scenes appeared dragged. Crisp editing could have been effective. Even though Music wise by Ramana Gogula has given okay songs the background score is very impressive.

The first half is impressive with swift narration. It’s entertaining and engaging. The second half is bit slow, the first 20 minutes post interval have unrelated and unwanted episodes(like fights) but later it’s okay. The climax is very much predictable and the narration falls flat in the last 20 minutes. Merlapaka Gandhi who debuted into Tollywood with this movie has done decent job. He earlier directed a shot film called “Karmaraa.. Devuda”. Story wise the movie has a wafer thin line. But the characterizations and their travel made it interesting. Generally travel (Road) movies fall flat once they pick up momentum with some forceful threads but this movie has interesting screenplay which engages the whole first half. The Dialogues are also natural and okay. The direction is good in the first half. The second half should have been crisper.

The movie may go well in ‘A’ centers. We have to wait for the response of the Masses to know the exact Box-Office fate of the film.

Plus: Entertainment, First half, Performances, Cinematography

Minus: slow second half, Predictable penultimate Climax scenes.

Verdict:  An entertaining and interesting Travel. Can watch it once if like Youthful / Action comedy entertainers.
